Bank of Baroda Canara Bank Among 10 Counters that Saw Decline in NPAs in Q3
Falling NPAs: A loan that has been past due and unpaid for some time is known as a non-performing asset (NPA). Investors in banking equities should monitor the bank’s non-performing assets (NPAs) in their portfolios as the Q4 FY25 results get near. Several banks from the Nifty500 index, including Canara Bank, City Union Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of Baroda, RBL Bank, and Federal Bank, reported lower non-performing assets (NPAs) in Q3 FY25, according to Trendlyne data.
City Union Bank: In Q3 of FY25, City Union Bank recorded a net non-performing asset (NPA) of 1.42%. Q2 of FY25 saw the Bank’s net non-performing assets (NPA) at 1.62%.
Bandhan Bank: In Q3 of the fiscal year 2025, Bandhan Bank recorded a net non-performing asset (NPA) of 1.28%, whereas in Q2FY25, the net NPA was 1.29%.
Canara Bank: Canara Bank’s net non-performing asset (NPA) ratio was 0.99% in Q2FY25 and 0.89% in Q3FY25.
Bank of India: In Q3FY25, the net non-performing asset (NPA) ratio was 0.85%, compared to 0.94% in Q2FY25.
UCO Bank: In Q3 of the fiscal year 2025, UCO Bank recorded a net non-performing asset (NPA) of 0.63%, compared to 0.73% in Q2.
Central Bank: The Central Bank reported a net non-performing asset (NPA) of 0.61% in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, up from 0.7% in the second quarter of the same year.
Bank of Baroda: The net non-performing asset (NPA) ratio for the bank was 0.59% in Q3FY25, up from 0.6% in Q2FY25.
RBL Bank: The net non-performing assets (NPA) decreased from 0.79% in Q2FY25 to 0.53% in Q3FY25.
Federal Bank: The net non-performing asset (NPA) ratio for Federal Bank was 0.49% in Q3FY25, down from 0.57% in Q2FY25.
