In FY2025, JSW Energy Shares in the Target Firm Exceeded the 10 GW Capacity Milestone

With 10.9GW of installed capacity, JSW Energy meets its FY25 goal and adds a record 3.6GW in FY2025. With an emphasis on expanding renewable energy, the firm wants to reach 20GW capacity before 2030.

JSW Energy announced on Tuesday that it had surpassed its 10 GW goal for FY25 and now has an installed generating capacity of 10.9 GW. The most significant yearly capacity addition in the Company’s history was achieved in FY2025 when it installed 3.6 GW of generating capacity.

Organic wind capacity was the main driver of JSW Energy’s 3.6 GW annual capacity development. 1.3 GW more inorganic operating capacity and 1.8 GW of KSK Mahanadi Power have been added.

Mahendra said the firm would keep providing dependable, reasonably priced, and environmentally friendly power to achieve 20 GW of installed capacity well before 2030. The company currently has 7.5 GW of power projects under construction, to reach a 20 GW total power generating capacity by 2030.
